This was a very fun book to read. There were times that it was sad, but it was full of imagination and fun ideas- AND come to find out REAL. I very much enjoyed the relationship with the grandfather, but his sister? Aunt Gertrudis? She was HORRIBLE!! I guess you have to feel sorry for her in a way, but she was a hateful, mean- spirited lady. I definitely recommend this book as an illustration of selflessness. The Grandfather loved his Grandson so much! What did he give up? What is this "Circus" business? Read and find out!
